Secto Rally Finland adopts RowlyGO – fleet management enters a new era
Secto Rally Finland is the largest annual motorsport event in Finland, bringing tens of thousands of rally fans and teams to the Jyväskylä region again this August – along with nearly 100 vehicles for the event organization. Only a small portion of these vehicles appear on the special stages to oversee safety. The majority serve behind the scenes, supporting logistics and various operational needs.
This year, the rally organization is adopting the RowlyGO software, which brings all fleet management into a single view. The system provides the event team with real-time information on vehicles, drivers, reservations, and vehicle condition throughout the rally event.
Previously, fleet management was manual and scattered
Until now, vehicle management relied on Excel sheets, emails, and phone calls. As a result, vehicle and driver data was fragmented, vehicle condition wasn’t systematically recorded, and mileage or damage was often left undocumented.
Everything in one place – transparently
With RowlyGO, all data is managed centrally and transparently. This marks the first time a professional fleet management system is being used in an event of this scale in Finland. With the rollout, AKK gains a unified view of all vehicles, drivers, and reservations, as well as access to details like users, driving times and purposes, the ability to log damages, mileage, and fuel levels with each reservation, and tools to send confirmations and usage instructions directly to drivers.
RowlyGO brings to fleet management:
-
Transparency – everyone can see what is booked and by whom
-
Traceability – no more lost information or manual errors
-
Reporting – up-to-date reports and statistics with a single click
From AKK’s perspective, this is a clear leap toward modern, data-driven event production.
